SPACER
WHO WE ARE

The LEO Foundation is a private family foundation that works toward the vision of self-sufficient young people who are assets in their respective communities.

The Foundation's mission is to provide young people everywhere with the basic tools of love, education and opportunity that everyone needs to get a fair start in life and a chance at a happy and productive adulthood.

The LEO Foundation's work is focused in three areas:

  • Youth Mentoring
  • Life Skills Development
  • Leadership Development
  • Job Skills Training
For Youth Mentoring, the LEO Foundation has formed partnerships with social service agencies throughout the country to bring young people in contact with adults who can serve as role models in vocational and social skill development or hobby sharing.

The LEO Foundation Center for Life Skills Development offers youth a variety of programming committed to demonstrate how to deal with life's special challenges, whether it be peer pressure or conflict resolution. The Center will also show young people how to deal with their own feelings and promote awareness of their own skills and the world around them.

The Leadership Development area encourages development of leadership skills among adolescents, showing them how they can impact others and can contribute to the larger society.

Finally, our Job Skills and Entrepreneurial Development area training division provides training for high demand job skills in computing and other careers.
